Detail what you are trying to accomplish. What is the end result you expect?
place the script in
~/.kde/Autostart
if you are running KDE. I have already upgraded my machines to 4.2, so can't verify, but isn't this available from KDE Control Center in 3.5? Just a graphical way of putting it in ~Autostart, lol.
It is there in KDE 4.2, I use it for various backports (Amarok 1.4, Guidance Power Manager) since these are not preserved in the KDE 4.2 I am testing.
If you are running Gnome, XFCE, etc, then don't bother reading the above. :D
