System Rescue
I'm running Fedora 13 in VMWare workstation. However, when I boot to the CD and run the System Rescue, it says:
"you don't have any Linux partition.Press return to get a shell..."
Did I wipe out my partition by booting to the CD? It seems like every time I reboot my vm now, it goes into install mode, even though the CD is no longer inserted.
Also my snapshot manager no longer shows any of my snapshots, so I'm out of luck there.
Is there a way I can recreate/restore the Linux partition without going through a full install?
Thanks

I am confused.
If you put Fedora in VMWare that to me is installing Linux as a guest inside a host. Such virtual machine means the Linux is just a file inside the host system. Therefore you have never had a Linux partition.
A Linux partition will only happen if you install the Linux as an independent operating system for which it will have its own partition, own filing system that you can mounted by other OSes and its own boot loader.
If you have a problem with the Linux inside VMWare just re-install the Linux.
