Over VPN IP/USB sharing Linux

I have one issue I don't know if this are possible but so i explain you and i hope to can find a great result of this.

I have a server in the cloud so and on my home i have a scanner/Printer over IP. So but i need to scan document directly on my server but i don't have PC @ home to scan to the PC and then save to server. This was the simplest way. So i have think to activate a VPN and with sane i can make scans but now have anybody one idea how can i convert a IP Printer to a USB interface on the server side. Without connecting it on other Device. Can i convert one IP interface to a USB interface i say that it exist some adapter for converting USB over IP

I think the VPN make this easier.
