hehe. i had forgotten about this thread. it's quite outdated now. we have things like compiz/compiz-fusion/beryl now which do things smoother than 3ddesktop, for example...

the du utility might be off help. off the top of my head, you could do something like this:
du -csh *
look at the options in the man page... works on cygwin as well, so you can do it on that...

i have a macbook myself with gentoo on it. have had it for about a year now. pretty happy with it. everything is working except suspend. i know others have gotten it working. i just haven't bothered...

looks like the glade version used to generate the file is too new for your glade-sharp. try generating the xml file using glade-2 instead of glade-3.
try this glade-2 file instead...

also... are you sure you are using gnu find? windows has a find command you can invoke from dos. it does not take the same parameters, hence why you might be...

I think you get a panic if you dont have / when booting... i think that was the only time i was able to panic the kernel... dont remember well though.

you can add "user" to the mount options in your /etc/fstab file.

1. create a common group for all those users
2. add all those users to the group
3. use chown to change the group for the directory you want to share
4. use chmod to give all rights to users in...
