The option of installing LILO I hope is the same as RedHat 7.3 (which I use) and should not affect your data on HDA, but all the same, there are no guarantees in the digital world.......

Ahh... Well what you will have to look at is whether the PC at school will boot from your installation of 98, the problem being that the hardware is obviously different at school, drivers, etc.

Good advice from previous post, Partition Magic is an almost indispensable tool if you are dual booting. The only possible snag that I can see is that you will have to ensure that you use LILO/Grub...
