Getting back to the user interface... I've seen the vast majority of web searches setup like this...
1. Make a selection, and/or type something in.
2. Make another selection (and on, and on... )....

Here's the text entry code:
<code>
<INPUT name="CC" type="text" size="12" maxlength="24" id="CCTB" tabindex="2" />

Here's the "Search" button code:

<INPUT name="submit6"...

Actually... The big change to the search method is for the user to click the corresponding button of the number, instead of keying it in by hand. The button would then send the number to the PHP...

Perhaps I can clarify a bit further... After the user selects a choice from the drop-down, they consult a static PDF image of a grid of 4 digit numbers and keys one of those numbers in, then clicks...

I have a working database search scenario like this:
* User chooses an item from a drop-down menu, AND...
* User then types a four digit number into a text field and clicks a "Search" button.

It seems the site is just barely here. :D Anyway... I played around with the system's icon themes, changing it to Gnome, so now my icons and their "cue text" are much better and more readable than...

Thanks for your help klackenfus. Deleting the file worked to fix the problem with the GUI task manager (System Monitor), but removing and then re-installing the package did not. This is a 2 year old...

Ha! Of course when I want the game to freeze while closing, it won't do it :o . Thanks for the reply, I'll try it as soon as I can repeat the problem... Still, It would be nice to fix it in the GUI...

I've updated the Archos' firmware. I don't think there are any firmware updates to be had for the Palm (Garnet 5.x). Sad to say, the T|X is the latest PDA device from them. Possibly a router firmware...

Ok... FWIW, I was using WPA-PSK on the D-Link. When I went back to an open WiFi, the 2 Archos devices connected! :) But still no joy with the Palm device :( . I'll try it with WEP after I get the...

Well, I've had this problem the longest with the Palm device, and I know it's the same with or without encryption on the Palm. I'll try it both ways on the other devices and see what happens.

Yeah, I love mine too... I saw the new T|X and thought I'd try to sell the T5 (I don't really need 3 of them, since I still have a m515 for backup).
I bought a Wi-Fi card for the T5, so I'm good...

Here's a list of features. This unit is only slightly used and less than 6 months old. I'll ship it in the original box, anywhere within the U.S.
I'll ship to Canada if you pay postage.

I heard a rumor that my company (International Truck and Engine) is running a pretty cool Linux cluster for FEA engineering. Don't know who to talk to about it though.

This is true, but with that processor, I'm not sure that any updated PPC software will run properly anyway (?). I would suggest DebianPPC to start. And since it is an Old World Mac, you will have to...

Ok, I'll keep that in mind. After some research, it looks like I may have to put the guts into a different case, if I have to upgrade the PSU. Anyone other than Shuttle doesn't make a PSU of the...

One of those shark fin radio tuner/recorder thingys would be very nice :D . Don't know if they work with Linux, though I've got a Mac ;) .

It's going just great thanks. I took some pictures... Just need to get them loaded to my gallery. I just took a look at the temperature readings in the BIOS yesterday. After leaving the system on for...

Well; mine will likely be running in 32 bit mode for the most part. The current state of software (Linux or otherwise) hasn't really caught up to take advantage of full 64 bit hardware yet. And I'm...

Yeah, been there. Lady cat had turned 10 in August. She developed inflamed colon decease; couldn't digest food after a while. I didn't want her to suffer any longer.
Yep... I found the prices...
