for some reason gnome seems to handle sound better than KDE on my machine anyway IBM intellistation M prop :)

my first was a zx80 , second was a Vic20 with expansion to 16k memory, tape loading, connected to the tv to view what was happening, those were the days LOL,

Cant seem to get fdisk working on redhat 9
I type in a terminal, fdisk /dev/hda
error= fdisk command not found ,
what am i doing wrong, help:confused:

I have been trying for months to get my cable broadband on NTL to work in linux.
Finally found the answer,
I bought SuSe 9 pro,
installed it without turning of the cable, and SuSe detected it and...

I start VNC from linux it connects gives just time to enough click on an object on the desktop then shuts off again

It only happens in root other logins work fine:rolleyes:
