If you open xine settings in the xine gui or kaffine settings xine engine parameters you can set the dvd device /dev/hdc most likely
Also SusE has been shipping a broken xine engine that cant use...

what i was doing should not be tryed, it was a stupid time consuming wastefull exersise.:o

I was trying to fold from opensuse 10.1,opensuse 10.2 and kubuntu (on the same multiboot computer) by monting a partition called /tv from all three with FAH504-Linux.exe and its work unit,it did work...

just boot into linux, adjust the monitor with the buttons on it, boot back into windows and adjust to that monitor hardware setting with the nvidia/ati software.

its what i did 2 yars ago.:)

I was running folding on suse 10.1, i have at least 5 partitions for linux and one wxp on this computer (amd 64 3200 1GB ram) i was trying to run the same folding core from all Linux's as i allways...

Just install automatix and let it install this stuff for you:
