use this command to set up SWAT to run from your browser:

Well you need to make sure that the account you want your NT to authenticate allready exists on your samba server.
You duplicated your accounts? Or do they only exist on your NT 4?

What distribution are you using?
Anyways the wu-ftpd was dropped from the Linux distro's. Instead they now use vsftpd, which i actually suggest that you use!
