PCMCIA Cisco Aironet 350/352 Run Time Trouble

    Hello,

Does anyone know how-to or is successfully running a Cisco Aironet 350/352 PCMCIA Network Card in Linux?

Here's my situation. I tried running it using the default Modules that are presented in the Red Hat 9 Kernel. Because that failed, I tried recompiling the kernel without PCMCIA Support and doing it the way it said in the manual. But this way around, it got me into even more problems.

When I plug in the network card, basically both lights turn on and do nothing. When I compiled my own version of PCMCIA-CS, version 3.2.x, it got me even into more problems. Forgot the exact error messages.

Here is the Error List I get during Bootup when I look in the logs. Some information may not be pertanent to the network card.

Since, I have reinstalled the RedHat 9 Kernel but have no luck getting this card working. I have tried the 2.5.69 Kernel as well, but that one isn't getting me any luck either.

Just out of curiosity, can my problems be caused due to me having the unlucky ATI Radeon IGP 320M Bus on my Laptop?

    Thanks for Everything.

    Mark

    -bump-

    Anyone got any clues?

I've gotten a little further with the 2.5.69 Kernel, but its still giving me the RED Light Non stop, in which Cisco Says bad driver.

    Thanks for the no help...

Anyways, for anyone who may be experiencing a similar problem as I was, I found the fix. The loaded Firmware or the Firmware you load may not be linux compatible. Cisco release two firmwares, a Linux Compatible (which includes Windoze Compaitibility) and a Windows Only Compatible one. If you like me, which had the windows only one loaded, you will experience the same problem. Just reflash the card and it'll work on the next boot. Reflash in this case must be done on a windoze base.
