The European unoin is trying to patent all sorts of things, some of which as far as I am concerned is against the spirit of Linux.

I trust that this now sets my comment in the correct context.
P.S. Look at the fight between Lindows and Windows!
But a mandrake is a plant, how on earth can you trademark it?

How'd you manage to get Firebird to act like a web browser? That's amazing! </lame joke about the whole Web Browser / DB name debacle>

You forgot w3m. It's a text browser, yet it has inline image support built into in when you are in X.

It's also a pager. It's one of the most useful apps that I've ever run across.

Konqueror all the time ...It looks very nice, although it has some problems with Java Script ...It's flashy, but not that flashy ...
Mozilla is slow and ugly, but it does the work ...(and it's quite stable)
And I think that somewhere I have Opera....

I have to say, I never liked Konqueror's whole mess of being both a file browser and a web browser, but with a little tweaking of a more recent version, it really does both tasks beautifully. It's so modular and well-fitted to performing different types of tasks that I actually like it being both, now.

    Rendering issues aside :-)

Firefox hands down for Windows and Linux environments. I can't believe people actually like Konqueror. It was such a sluggish app for me.
I use Linux because failure is not an option.
