    Firebird and Java

    Newbie problem
I have j2re installed and I have gone through the process of installing the plugin for the browser (Went to a site that needed java and it required to download the plugin, followed the link and it says it successfully installed the plugin.)

Everytime I go to that site or any site that requires "application/x-java-vm" is requests to download and install.

    Any suggestions?
