openmossix with 2.6.5 OR other cluster software

ive got tons of slower p1 and p2s most all under 433mhz but i was thinking that a cluster/hive would be nice thing to try if it doesnt help me at least id know how to do it in the future.

now i was looking at op=penmossix but ill use anything i can.

    the primary node would be

    xp barton 2800
    gentoo 2004.0 stage1
    1gb ram

all the other nodes would be 433 or less prolly 4 to start but more as i go along.

would openmossix would be best or if there are any others that would be better?

    the problems im having:

most of the documents ive read make you use 2.4.24 or earlyer and i want /have to use 2.6.5

and the computers i have cannot boot from lan.

so if any one can give me some pointers

Clustering is on my very long list of things to try one of these days though so far I haven't really done any research on what to use.

Have you tried searching freshmeat.net for clustering software?
