Angry mdwatts - Mike Watts has passed away

I'm not sure how or to whom to make this out to. However, I would like to bring to your attention, that one of the moderators - Mike Watts has passed away ( August 25th).
Mike was a decent fellow, and a loyal friend. He was suffering from bone marrow cancer, and this finally did him in.
I was a good friend of Mike's and I am sure that there will be many of you who will miss him
    God bless Mike...

I sincerely wish his soul to carry on in whatever manner may fit him best. I didn't know him on a personal basis, but he helped alot of people here, and I'm sure other places aswell. It's a great loss for justlinux.com, and for the world in general, its always a shame to see a good person lost at the hands of cancer.

    My condolences to his family.

I am a personal friend of mdwatts. We worked at the same company.
However, for the last several months, Mike got progressively worse as the Chemo he was receiving kept making him weaker and weaker, he needed blood transfusions every second week then every week then every second day. His situation became worse, then finally all his internal organs began to fail until finally there was nothing left.
He passed away just before midnight on August 25th...

I may not have known mike personally, but I do know he spent a lot of time on this forum helping people out. I'm sure he was prolly like that in other aspects as well. We would all be better off if more people would give as much time in helping others.

Thanks mdwatts for helping me out so many times.

Though I'm new here, I was priveleged, as we all were, to have been the recipient of mdwatt's help and encouragement. The world has lost one of its better citizens.
