Hmm... I just went with the default settings on both computers, and it seems that both were assigned #1 (because I didn't specify otherwise... I don't think the setup questions even asked... it was the server that gave the number). Do I have to override this on one of them?

179 days to catchup before I go offline...think you can do it? Just so you know, there was a 2week gap where i was only running it on 1 machine. I'm not even using my laptop anymore. So thats 3 machines total...1 is only running part of the time.

    Pathetic....truly pathetic.

While you fight over who will gain the lead, I am going to celebrate my seccond fold on computer number 2.

I only have two computers. The first fold was finished by a 233, my desktop is 1.5ghz and it just finished its first today while I was at school. It is too bad that I have to turn off the 1.5ghz to sleep!

System 1 up and running, just started so it might be a few days before the first is finished. 2.8GHz. Will start my server working when I get home. AMD k6-2 400.

I talked with my brother (biology doctorate student) about this yesterday and he mentioned Novartis has an entire server cluster folding. Well, obviously they hope to create new drugs some day to boost their revenue. It's amazing how much processing power is behind this. Once I've got my boxes back home I'll join the effort - and the right team, of course.

    Awright!

My Athlon/Debian box finished it's first WU tonight. It was actually being worked on in the March screenshot I posted.

Meanwhile, my meager Celeron/XP 400 is only about half done its first protein (despite a generous head start...LOL). But at least it's doing something useful now.

How do you complete a Work Unit, but not get any points for it?

I don`t know, but it says

    Total score 0
Overall rank (if points are combined) 433062 of 433062

I suppose that means, no negative scores are possible.
