The first one is a spoof (and yes, we have all seen it ) and the second one they are perfectly entitled to do - most of the Linux sites do it...... (well, dualboot at least).

Please refer further comments to the Main 'Hating Microsoft in a Nutshell' thread.

    I'm going to lock this.

I have some comments, I don't understand a lot of the detailed info in some of the links so I didn't read to far into them.

To me the TCPA sounds similar to the DVD decryption chips in DVD players.

I'm interested to see what happens if this plays out.

I'm hoping some virus steals everyone's credit card and M$ goes down like the titanic. All of a sudden, kerplunk...ahh where's M$. a lot of companies using M$ would lose a lot of their crap, the world goes into chaos because half of the economic world died...black monday all over mwahahaha

    my ideal world anyway hahahahaha

I take care of people's credit-card accounts at work - some days I think this has already happened. Maybe the Govenenment should do to Microsoft what they did to AT&T. Except with the existing competition, people would have more of a choice...ahem!..of what DVD's they want to buy.

They can come up with all the TCPA they want, I will never trust M$. As Dr. Phil says, " a good predicter of future behavour is past behavour". They sucked before, they still suck and they will always suck.

    Enough said.
