Which Linux should i install?
Hi this is manoj. I am very new to the Linx. So i need some help. I want to develop an appllication in J2ME for ARM9 processor on linux.So would any plz tell me which linux whould i use?

These appears to be CPU for mobile phones and games and not the standard operating systems used on a PC.
I could be wrong but the life span of these devices may not be long enough to sustain an Opensource Linux system to be developed and circulated. If one is available it may be kept as a proprietary system too and sold embedd into the product hardware because of its commercial value. Presumably the vendor would supply details on how to programme such mini devices for various application.
You may have a better chance of getting a good response by raising it in the hardware section.

saikee - motorola phones use ARM, my Nokia 770 uses ARM (and runs debian), etc.
manoj - you'll want to either learn all about cross compiling, or use Debian on an ARM machine...
