    Debian Stable with EFI?

Anybody got it working? I have hacked on it for a week or so, but even using several cookbooks from google, so far it is no go. Going to back off for a few days before taking another run at it, but was just checking to see if anyone out there might have it working.

Interestingly enough, Wheezy installs on my 4 core EFI Gigabyte MB just fine. So far I haven't found the difference between Stable and Unstable except the kernel and I have proved that isn't the reason for the defugality. Another factoid is that Linux Mint installs just fine, but I assume that just means that it is using Unstable also.

It isn't a problem now at all since Wheezy has been frozen and I have decided to use it. But it is bugging me that I can't find the answer to what should be a simple problem. One good result of the search is my Perl skills are being refreshed from the hundred scripts that I have written to search and compare about a zillion files on both versions.
