No print output from HP 4000 in Debian Squeeze

Hi,

Ever since I started using Debian Squeeze, my trusty HP 400 printer prints only occasionally the webpages I have ordered printed.

The settings in the Administration > Printing for this printer are correct.

What happens is that the Print Manager shows that the job has been accepted and is being processed. Then the job is completed without any print output. It is highly frustrating. I use Opera and Iceweasel as my web browsers. Neither print properly.

The printer outputs properly from the editor or other non-web browser stuff.

Ideas what may be wrong?

[SOLVED]

The printer configuration used the HP4000 driver. I tried using the HP4050 driver (with CUPS + Gutenberg which is compatible) and it printed properly.
