Live Linux CD
My HDD is dead now. I want to run live linux os in cd. Main concern is about software availability i want to install opera, K lite, IDM, and other too. Is there any better choice than linux as software availability. I just want to use it for internet and watching BLuray movies. Will it do the work?

If you run Linux from a USB flash drive instead of a CD/DVD you'll be able to install and remove apps.
