    Lenovo

    I read that the 240 and 440 Lenovo laptops will do a good dual boot setup... is this true?????
    what would you recommend??? ubuntu and windows 8...
    I am so tired of stuff that needs windows....xubuntu just cant do enough..

    when I am using Ubuntu I dont want ANY windows OS running at all. I want them separate.

    Ok, you don't have to. Dual-boot is still quite doable.

    You can also boot and run various flavors of Linux directly off of USB keys. (I carry a few on my keyring).

    so ..is Lenovo the best for Linux???? I would like to find the cheapest Windows pc but it has to be able to run any app or Windows program... some of these new ones cant do that...

    Please elaborate. If you dual boot that should not be a problem unless your trying to run a 16 bit program with a 64 bit OS.
