    Red face What type of Distro is good for this laptop?

    Hi everyone! I'm just wondering if what's the best distro for this laptop?

    Specs:

    Processor: AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon(tm) HD graphics 1.50GHz

    RAM: 4GB

    Type: 64-bit, x64based processor

    I think you wouldn't have any problem running the newest Mint version on that. I would recommend Cinnamon....unless you have a thing for the KDE desktop...there's a Mint for that too.

    I've tried running Linux Mint KDE, but it's so slow and doesn't shutdown very well.

    Then try Mint XFCE. I have an Acer Aspire 722 Netbook and all flavors of Mint run fine on it.
