Crosspostings and the 'Move Topic' thingy?

Just out of curiosity (haven't really tried this), is it possible for a topic starter to move the topic to another forum when he/she realises its posted in the wrong forum?
Or is this a 'moderator privilege' only?

I have serious doubts, though, that this would reduce crosspostings anyway.
Considering the amount of 'research' done by some posters before posting, this would probably just be another overlooked feature of the board?.

    Just a thought ...

I don't think they can move it, but they sure can delete the cross-posted ones.
