VMWare and RedHat 8.0 missing c headers

Hi,

I tried to install VMware 3.2 and it asked me for the location of the c header files.

I thought they were /usr/include but the installation says this;

cpp0: warning: changing search order for system directory "/usr/include"
cpp0: warning: as it has already been specified as a non-system directory
The directory of kernel headers (version 2.4.9-9) does not match your running
kernel (version 2.4.18-14). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it
would not load into the running kernel.

How can i get or install or updatetheses c header files.

Fixed it!

what i did was install the kernel source form the RedHat package menu. And then I just re-started the VMWARE installation with ./vmware-install

Did the 'vmware-config.pl' suggest /usr/include as the location for the kernel-headers, or did you override its suggestion with /usr/include?

If so, try running the 'vmware-config.pl' again and go with the defaults.
