I have had some assistance from a competent IT freind and realise that my concepts of disk
partitions and booting dual operating systems is something only experience can correct. I am pleased to report that I am able to run iether windows7 or linux desktop and I must say I
am qute pleased with my so far expience with the look of desktop 12.10 .
