I'm running xfce (Xubuntu 9.04). I crashed a session. At startup I have a choice to go back to a few earlier sessions (default - the crashed on, and two other named sessions that work fine).
How do I remove these saved sessions? I have no interest in saving them.
I'll try man xfce-session now. Should I google X session or stick with the ubuntu forums?

OK I've finally seen my local .cache directory and went into
.cache/sessions
I editted my xfce-session-jack-desktop:0 file to rid myself of the default session.
It seems to have worked but the sessions directory looks pretty messy.
I wish I'd found a GUI to do this.
I can't check at the moment, I'm on my work machine, but wouldn't Settings->Settings Manager->Sessions and Startup from the menu let you do what you needed?
