Is this a good Tribooting Tutorial I wrote

It think that maybe your tutorial is geared toward people who want to save their Windows partition, and mine is not-- which is cool.

I have a question that I want to throw out: Here's the Windows entry from my grub menu:

It seems to me that, as long as I keep putting Windows in the first partition of my first hard drive, which, after all, is the recomended procedure-- I will always be able to count on my Windows Grub entry to be exactly that, every time, for every install, for the rest of my life. I won't have to look in the Windows boot loader, or search for the information in any other place. I only need to remember:

and I'll always be golden. Is that a safe assumption?

Yes. It is. Primary partition numbers don't change, so it'll always be the same if you keep it on that partition.

Its a tutorial to triboot Xp SuSE and Fedora Core did you follow it step by step.

Well, I started to.. but I decided that I didn't need to use a slax CD for what I wanted to do... and I didn't. I just used the usual partitioning tools for whatever I happened to be installing, and it worked just fine. What I got from your tutorial that made the difference was an understanding of where to save the bootloader for secondary distros.

I made it because SuSE 9.3 and Fedora Core 4 don't resize partitions very good and the custom Slax cd has the most up to date software.
