It think that maybe your tutorial is geared toward people who want to save their Windows partition, and mine is not-- which is cool.
I have a question that I want to throw out: Here's the Windows entry from my grub menu:
It seems to me that, as long as I keep putting Windows in the first partition of my first hard drive, which, after all, is the recomended procedure-- I will always be able to count on my Windows Grub entry to be exactly that, every time, for every install, for the rest of my life. I won't have to look in the Windows boot loader, or search for the information in any other place. I only need to remember:Quote:

and I'll always be golden. Is that a safe assumption?Quote:
