Sensei, your site has helped me more than I can ever express. I was so interested in Linux but had no idea of what I was getting into. Your generosity in creating this site for people like me made learning Linux so much easier. LNO would never have been possible if it were not for you. Thank you so much for your dedication and hard work. Good luck with finding a job and I hope you and LinuxGirl have a long, happy life.

I'm in no position to start a new BBS which is the new generation LNO but I will definitely be there working hard if any of our LNOers will create the kind of community touch that make the LNO great. I'd not even survive the Linux if I hadn't have the help of LNOers and NHFs.... So yeah.. so long Sensei and just let us know where you are and we will be there.......
That's freaking sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you sensei for this community. I love it even better than Linux.
Good luck and see you soon on this board ...

Remember when "TiredMnInNeedOf Sleep" alias "tminos" first showed up? If you can measure the accomplishments of the site by a single guy, this one brings tears to my eyes.
Thanks for bringing this site into being. I've got a bunch of books, but I've learned more from lurking, searching, and occasionally asking questions here than I could have understood from my late night reading.
Also, when I've been able to contribute a reply, it has often been by finally being able to relate a real-world situation to something I have read in those books, so I'm learning either way.
Best wishes to you both and I hope you have a mild Hurricane season. (I remember those pics)
Love,
Tom

Wow, what a shocker  . No matter what happens to this site in the future, just remember you made a huge contribution to the Linux community and we all thank you for that. Good luck in future endeavors Sensei.

So long and thanks for all the fish.
Err, I mean thanks (guess it's not REALLY the end of the world, but still)!

 Real life can suck sometimes.
I can't say enough thank you Sensei for this site. I had been using and loving Linux for some time before seeing this site, but LNO made me love Linux even more and made me learn a whole bunch of new things about Linux. You don't even believe what kind of astronomical phone bills (yes, crappy dial-up connection) I started getting after coming to LNO.
Sensei, I'll miss you. Best of luck for you, whatever you start doing after this!
:( :( :( :(

Wow. I just started surfing this site again after about a year. Do you get to keep your screen name?
I won an LNO tshirt last year. Maybe now I can auction it off on ebay for big $$$. Kidding!
Maybe I should drink my coffee before posting... :o

I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the hard work you and the other regular posters put into this site!!!
You can take solace in the fact that you helped bolster a great movement, and that your hard work has made the linux OS accessible to so many disenfranchised winblows users!!!
I wish you luck and great success in your future endeavors. Good fortune will be a given for you and linuxgirl.
Ave atque et fortuno bonus frater!!!!

I can't say I am really shocked, as I feared this day would come
when you announced that you were selling LNO. I wont repeat what has been said already as it goes without say, but I would like to comment on why I think this site is great. Just over two years ago, Sensei, you started this site with a goal in mind.
It was an idea to present Linux to new users in a friendly and understandable way and to help them with problems in a non-judgmental fashion. As the community grew, that piece of yourself that you imparted to this site, carried into the new members, to make this site a fun place where people could come and have questions answered, without being intimidated by more experienced users. Add to that, great NHF's, interesting articles, "Sensei's Log", and some very heated and interesting discussions in the forums, makes this place what it is and why we all love it.
Good lick and all the best.

Wow. What a news item to stumble in on!
You'll be missed, but take comfort in the fact that LNO will go on, and you will be forever remembered in history. Not bad, eh?
Say hello to yer wife for me! I hope she realizes what a special guy she's got with her right now. :D

Best of luck to you and Linuxgirl. If LNO survives, you will always have that to be proud of. If not, sucks for all of us. Thanks for all you've done.
