MUAUAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Lets go boy's and girl's and penguins!!
I just added two CPUs that had previously been sitting in corners doing nothing. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the Xeon server that I had set up at my last job. These two probably more than make up for it (combined 3.2 Ghz).
I don't post much, but I just joined the f@h team and I have added 3 CPUs
1.7Ghz Celeron, 256MB RAM, Win XP
1.2Ghz Celeron, 256MB RAM, Slack 10.2
350Mhz Pentium II, 128MB RAM, FreeBSD 6.0
I noticed that two of them were doing a core with the same filename, is that normal?
Welcome aboard!
The more the merrier!
Yeah, that should be fine. They'll be working on different work units so they're not duplicating anything.Quote:

Heh, I just got my Athlon XP 2500 back up and running with no hard drive (can you say "Knoppix is the coolest thing ever"?:)). Eventually it will have an actual hard drive, but I don't need it for another month and I've got a good uptime going on the computer the hard drive will need to come out of so I decided to leave it running Knoppix for the time being. I just hope it doesn't crash or I'm going to lose the current work unit...
Came across your forums today and decided to sign up. Was checking things out and saw this thread.... started folding as soon as I got home from work. Just have it on one machine at the moment but more to come soon.
Cool deal!
Welcome aboard! The more the merrier and all that jazz... :D

I only have it running on my XP machine at the moment, but I have a few linux boxes that it will be on soon.
Woo hoo! Just topped 200 units completed! :) Folding on 4 machines now.
Congrats!
I finished 3 WU's in my first week.
