I hope they come up with some cures for stuff soon. I want to smoke a lot of cigars!!!

Is anybody else paying attention to this folding stuff?
-
Yeah, yeah, I know...
My CPU's stay hot these days, but it's usually running a simulation with a small to medium sized protein, or backing up my dvd collection ;-) . I wish that Pande would release sparc binaries, I'd be all over that!
Anyhoo...mostly I run folding when I'm asleep, but there's a lot of power on the team now...I pretty much gave up trying to stay at the top when ions passed me.
Heh...so pass me if you must! My feelings won't be hurt, I promise!
Yep, dual cores folding 90% of the time FTW!:DQuote:

I'm commin for ya bs_texas :-)

P.S. that last beta of the 64bit multi-core client wrote like 47Gigs of data to my hard drive last month and filled the drive and as a result went offline for a few days.
I just passed 10k. At the rate I'm going, I might pass 100k in the next 7328668273581487276345827358 years
HaHa...I dunno if you guys caught this or not...it gave me a chuckle :D

Yeah, thats a hoot.
Hehe, nice.:)
Maybe we should set a goal to get into the top 100 next year. I think it can be done. We need to recruit and add more procs. I have a few slower ones I could start up.

I think we were at one point, or at least very close. Folding is getting more popular and people are throwing a lot of CPU power at it these days, so it's getting harder and harder to break the top 100.
Yeah, I think next year is our year to make the top 100.
Woohoo, top 15 for me this evening. Im cookin with gas now!
