Hi, I need to replace text with condition something like:
string with ABC*9 replaced with ABC*8.
Well the '*' in example above is for wildcard.
What I mean is match strings that start with ABC...

I did a stupidity.
Actually, I want to symlink /dev/cdrom to /dev/hda
must be like this:

ln -sf /dev/hda /dev/cdrom

But what I did is symlink /dev/hda to /dev/cdrom.
