tv out question

my laptop is an hp pavilion n5150 with a savage ix card at 4meg and it has a built in tv out on the back of my system i want to know does mandrake 9.1 have a setting that would let me use this feature because my old windows me install had a built in feature to get to work on a tv so i was just wondering if linux did

If you want to use your tv set with out the laptop display then just shutdown the laptop plug in the tv an start the laptop and it should be fine.

If you want to set it up multi-display with both laptop display and tv set then you should make shure video card supports mult-display feature and then you will need to look into using Xinerama.
