Slax 4.1.2 was great at detecting my 802.11b.. will Slackware be as easy?
I booted up Slax 4.1.2 last night on a Dell laptop that had a PCMCIA 802.11b card in it. Talk about amazing: the card worked, without doing a single thing. In Windows, I have to find a driver and install it, and the client software as well... and it's kind of a pain with this card because it's a bit outdated (Orinoco Gold).
Anyway, I was wondering what it takes to get PCMCIA 802.11b working with Slackware 10.0. A co-worker of mine tried it and I think he said he got it working, but it had no WEP encryption support. (which I don't care about anyway, cuz WEP is a joke)
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Does Slackware have anything on their site on what wireless pcmcia cards Slack10 supports?
If not, why not just install Slackware 10 and see if it works?
Most (if not all) newer distros should all include wireless networking support.
