Right. Spill the beans. What is that info box down the left there? And how the heck did you get gDesklets to compile, let alone work?

For gdesklets, compile these in order:
1. XML-Parser
2. PyGTK
3. PyORBit
4. gnome-python
5. gDesklets

Thanks again. That is actually just the stock Gnome 2.6 on the Slack10 CD2 (I've had lot's of probs with Dropline). I replaced the stock window manager (Metacity) with Openbox...it's faster and cleaner.

How do you change the window manager in Gnome?

With OpenBox, it's easy...from a terminal on your Gnome desktop, just do
#openbox --replace
Leave this terminal open (you might see it complain about missing config stuff, but just ignore it). Logout with the [X]Save current setup option checked. When you log back in, you should now have OpenBox handling your windows/window decorations.
