Wine: howto?

Hey, I need some help installing Wine (newest version, released 8/13/04). Anyways I just downloaded the file to my windows system. What next?
Can I just burn this file to the cd (i have had trouble with .iso's which is why i am asking...)? Then how do I actually install wine on my Mandrake 10 System, from the command line is best (for the purpose of learning).

Then how do I install games that will run under wine? Do i install them like IN WINE or onto / with command line, how?

Sometimes basic questions on linux and other linux programs can be found in google by just putting in 'wine howto'
