Just acquired 5 very old laptops, what to do?
I just now, right this minute got 5 old 486 IBM thinkpads with 50MHZ & 12MB Ram running Win 3.1. They have black and white LCD's on them. They all work. Wonder what I could do with them other than paper weights. Seems like a shame to pitch them. They have no opticals, but the do have external floppies. and a port for a bus mouse and parrallel printing, and 1 PCMCIA slot. Not much else though.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
