Voice input
I saw there was another thread on voice commands for linux, but I am curious if anybody has seen any new info about the power of 64bit computing tied in with any new efforts in controlling your computer with voice. I'm talking about walking into the room and just saying in general. "hello computer, open up justlinux for me." Or, is that likely deferred until 128bit computing?
(And of course, Mrs. Roddenberry's voice would sound out, "Warning, self-destruct in 60 seconds, warning!")

Folding is Fun
I thought I made a mistake once, but, of course, I was mistaken.

"Computer, turn on Justlinux"
"Im sorry Dave, I am unable to do that"
"Why not, Hal, load up and bring up Justlinux now"
"I'm sorry Dave, I have downloaded the Microsoft conversion service pack and am now a Windows PC. Therefore it is not logical for me to open a Linux site".
"Alright HAL, I'm commanding you to load Justlinux or else I'm turning on the G5 Mac and using OSX"
"I'm sorry Dave, would you like french fries with that Big Mac?"
Have you tried Festival
