copy paste cut using gnome

Can you help me for this ?

I use gnome. My web browser is opera. When i copy text using opera, i could not paste it to AbiWord and it happened to another program. So how to make gnome understand like clipboard ?

You can use the copy/paste function that is built into X. It works in all window managers/desktop environments.

Highlight the text that you want to copy, place the cursor at the point you want to paste it, then paste by pressing your middle mouse button. If you only have a 2 button mouse you can turn 3 button emulation on in your XF86Config file and press both buttons simultaneously to emulate a middle mouse button.
