Having problems running Java with Netscape

I don't believe that this problem is due to Netscape, but here is what's going on. For my University OOP programming class we have to submit our assignments over the internet using a Java applet on their website. However, whenever I attempt to load the page I get an error message saying the applet cannot be run because I have not set up my Java security settings. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Are you allowing javascript to be run? It may be an option in the security settings.

I have been looking at such an option but without any luck so far. Luckily I have 2 weeks to submit the assignment.

How about Mozilla or Konqueror?
