Doom3 patch

I've noticed that the patch for Doom3 is a windows executable... is there a linux patch coming out? is there a way to install the windows patch to linux?

What do you mean...I play doom3 on linux all the time:

Both those links are for the Linux binary, there is no 'patch' (patch is an update to an existing app). This binary incorporates the 1.1 windows patch so there is no need.

I don't know of any newer patches then that and id does not list any others

yes, the 1.1 windows patch fixes are already in the first d3 linux release

you'll have to forgive me for being a little dense, but I saw this file in that directory.

doom3-linux-1.1.1286.x86.run

is this a patch or is this just an updated installer?
