KDE Custom question
Is there anyway to create an implied prompt (one that you cant see the blinking cursor but it's there waiting for input...) and is there any way I can have a part of my desktop be a dedicated xterm/console window? Im lazy and I'm tired of having to click the stupid icon all the time- it would be nice to log in and just have a prompt extend off the taskbar or something....
I'm more concerned with my 2nd question than I am with the first, I have an idea on what to do with the first one, but not sure I want it yet.
Thanks for the help

Make your fave. terminal show up at start up, if i understand you correct.

there is probably a a kicker applet that you can use.
the kicker is the panel/start menu bar thing in KDE.
applets are small apps that dock into it.
how to use the kicker and kicker applets are both fully documented on the kde web page.
