    Unhappy change "localhost"

Hey, is there anyway that I can change my computer name from localhost? When I set up Mandrake, I didn't get an option to do so for some reason. I just got it all configured to how I want it, so I don't want to re-install again just to change it. Are there any other ways? Thanks

i changed localhost to the name that i want it to be, so now do i need to log out and log back in for any changes to take effect? or should the terminal automatically start displaying the new host name?

I think SuSE uses either /etc/HOSTNAME or /etc/sysconfig/network.

Edit: I thought you were using SuSE..

I'm pretty sure you can change this somewhere in the mandrake control panel - networking setup.
