Suggestions for visual web site builder like Dreamweaver for Linux?

I'm looking for a good website building software, such as Dreamweaver, but for Linux. Since I'm not a hardcore programmer, a software with an intuitive GUI would be nice. Any suggestions folks? thanks.

Also, I heard that it's possible to run Macromedia Dreamweaver through Wine, I think.

It used to be, but I'm not sure if the latest versions of Dreamweaver will work though.

I heard people got it working with CrossOver Office.
Unfortunately I think you have to pay for it.

Try Quanta, it is graphical and free. It is no Dreamweaver, but it gets the job done.

Yep, that's right. You have to pay for it, it must be cheap anyways..

Qaunta is good, although its not really a wysiwyg like dreamweaver. You do have the ability to preview your page though...

I would also agree that NVU is probably your best bet for native linux software.

SCREAM, is included with mandrake from 9.2+ i believe, it has the same sort of codeing as dreamweaver, and has tool tips and what not. If i remember correctly it was more of a code based editor not as much of a wysiwyg

    The main Site

    Never used NVU before
