    HI
Yep I use t-vnc on all my Linux boxes and windows,
never been able to send ctl-c or v to the client though.
    Is this doable with vnc?

Is it possible to copy text from the client to you box?
    Just a thought.

    cheers

The thing with Linux is you keep trying all this stuff!!

I just tried it and was able to send CTL+ALT+DEL to my Windows 2000 workstation from my Linux laptop. I'm using the builtt-in remote desktop in Linux, and TightVNC in Windows.

it is possible with realVNC but i'm not sure about tightVNC... check out this SS of the options menu after pressing F8 in realVNC:

i would assume that tightVNC has similar options but i couldn't tell you where to look.

History is the fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction.
That's why events are always reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow for our current prejudices.

TightVNC has this option by default.

Look in the Connection Settings to enable/disable it.
