What version of wine are you using? I'll take the assumption that it's a new one

Does any of the tips on this page help?
The page is aimed for Cedega users, but they may also apply to vanilla Wine

    here is an update

if i start the loki's farcry it starts plays excellent but for no reason and with no errors system freezes after 5 min

if i manually start cedega farcry.exe it is so slow that you can't even play it.

So i guess something is wrong with the loki installer?
i changed everything in the configs too according to other forums

i got it to work excellent. I have been playing it for 1h and its just fine

I just transfered my farcry installation from my reiserfs onto a fat32 and this seems to made it to work. Only problem is there is no sound
