find user info
Hi guys,
Does anyone know any common commands to view a system users information? Particularly when the user was added. I just came across an eggdrop bot running on a legacy Redhat box i inherited a couple of weeks ago running under a strange user.
The system is getting rebuilt in a few day so I'm not ultra worried about losing anything. Just looking for info.
They had the bot set up to join #Lord and #0egg1 on Undernet.
Thanks
Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

I doubt that you could find out when the user was added... other than this...
try zgrepping in /var/log for the user name. see what shows up.
