I saw that earlier today and got my registration codes. I figured for free and without ads, I would give Opera a try at home on Windows and at work on Linux.

In my trial of Opera yesterday I discovered what I love about Firefox so much ... the AdBlock extension. It appears that Opera has no method as easy as AdBlock to block the annoying ads that are everywhere on the web now. I know there are methods for blocking ads but they requiring adding text files and custom shortcuts into Opera, whereas with AdBlock I simply install the extension and then start clicking on the ads I want blocked and I never see them again.

They just started doing this with the most recent release. All previous releases of the free version included banner ads. Now anyone can get Opera without the ads, pop-ups, etc.

Yeah, and that's just because it has lost so much territory..
Also, I don't know how much Opera may have improved, but lots of websites weren't displayed very well by the last time I used it.. like it wasn't respecting much the web-standards.
Opera, I don't like you
