Access Windows Server with a linux client
have a peculiar doubt.
Say, i have a ERP software setup on a Windows 2000 Server.
Now, my server is windows....
can i use linux clients to access the windows server?
I mean can that ERP product runs on linux?

I wanted to know whether or not i can port a ERP application that works with MYSQL Server(Windows) as backend to MySQL Server(Linux).
Is there this kind of compatibility?
What are the available ERP products that can be ported on linux

We need a few more details, eg, does your erp server have a web interface? If yes then no problem. Is your server a terminal Server? if Yes then no problem. If the server specifically requires a windows then no, also you then have a crappy ERP system and should look for something else...

Being an ERP product, it will have a web interface and yes the windows server supports terminal server client....
So, i can manage running a linux client.. Is'nt it?
