    Problems installing ie6 with wine

    Could someone please help me with this; I am running suse 10.1. I've tried doing this manually and through winetools while first creating a fake drive. I get the same error everytime I try to install 'dcom98'.

    DCOM98 can only be installed on Windows 98.
    For Windows NT, please install latest service packs.

    I haven tried it yet, but I wrote an article about it on my blog a little bit ago. I found a site that has exactly what you are looking for.

    With all the great browsers in linux, (firefox, epiphany, konqueror...) why would you want to install IE? Are you a web developer or something? If so, I'd suggest getting a winblows box if you need IE.

    Well, I have certain web accounts that require ie6. Could you please tell me what a winblows box is?
