    How do i get my network card working

    I just had a major problem where my pc wouldn't even post, found out it's the network card, bought a new one and now i can't connect to the internet

    New to linux and wondering how to install the drivers for an AirLink 10/100 PCI network card

    what distro are you using?slack i'm guesing.... does the company supply drivers?

    Their website only does windows

    And sorry, i'm using slackware

    hm. well, first you'll have to get some form of drivers for it. don't know where, but you could try www.google.com/linux and search for your card.

    Do you have the diskette that comes with the network card? It usually tells you what module you have to use under Linux and others OS's.

    I'd hate to necro, but... My household is running a wireless network on airlink gear. I read, recently, the company GPL'd the firmware code for one of their routers. I'm going to research if any groups are coding linux drivers for their PCI and PCMCIA gear. Currently, I'm in the process of building a new PC that'll utilize the wireless card eventually, but will have to run cat5 until then (which I hate.)
